My comments:
There will be continuing conflict in a 1-state solution. In reality, additional homelands need to be found for BOTH the Palestinians and the Israelis. The UK had the mandate. Uninhabited but inhabitable UK overseas territories should be used, such as Henderson Island in the Pitcairn Islands for New Israel, with plenty of land reclamation, and part of the Chagos Islands for the Palestinians, with plenty of land reclamation and the division of this with the original inhabitants, creating New Palestine. The Americans can retain their base there. Both in nice warm climates with plenty of fish and sunshine, but thousands of miles apart.
There must be a 7 state solution for Israel and Palestine themselves, with a shared state where everyone has the Right of Return as the main and largest state, but with separate states for Jews. the Palestinian Moslems, Romanist Palestinians, Orthodox Christian Palestinians, and True Orthodox Christians, such as me, who will have a right of settlement. Finally there will be a neutral Vatican-style state which will own all religious Holy sites with devolved commissions for each religion, which will also manage shared sites such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Over and above all this will be a Bosnia-Hercegovina style High Authority over a confederation of all of these entities which has a group of 50 countries overseeing it. There will be an over-all supervision which includes a UN-backed and fully funded permanent force.
In addition to my previous comment, the Israeli plan of creating reclaimed islands in the Mediterranean in international waters for the Palestinians, should be implemented, perhaps calling it New West Palestine.
