​My response in the comments to someone who repeated the lie that the majority of the MEPs elected by the UK and Gibraltar electorate in the 2019 European Parliamentary elections were elected for lists in favour of leaving the EU, going by the YouTube handle of @swangelok, as some joyful popular Portuguese Pimba music blasts out in the background on the local radio here, now replaced by a couple of Fado laments appropriate for such Brexiter Bregreter shallow stupidities :

No, the majority of the UK and Gibraltar MEPs elected were always from pro-Remain or pro-Second Confirmatory Referendum with a choice between a revised Leave deal option and a revised Remain option in accordance with the Venice Commission Guidelines on Referendums which all 3 of the major parties had signed up to in both Government and in opposition, and which the UK Government had adhered to at the time and no UK Government or major opposition party has ever repudiated.

I add to this comment: They obviously also hadn't read the 1910 Russian prophecy of St. Arsenios of Moscow and Mount Athos which includes Britain coming to almost complete ruin but being saved by Praying Enthroned Women (saints, nuns and pious  laywomen all come under this), as well as America feeding the world but then collapsing.
