hello and welcome back to David starky
0:09
talks today I've had a bright idea I
0:14
remember my old history Master 60 odd
0:17
years ago I suppose George there saying
0:20
many of your best ideas come when you're
0:23
shaving um I hadn't really begun so
0:27
perhaps why they didn't that's why the
0:29
bright ideas didn't come till later but
0:32
he is right and today it actually
0:34
happened whilst I was shaving so here
0:38
then is a little toast to George's
0:41
memory but of course the bright idea
0:44
didn't just come out of the blue it was
0:46
triggered by an immediate set of
0:49
circumstances what's going on now under
0:52
two-tier K which seems me to be a very
0:54
mild way of describing this neoc
0:57
Cromwell leading and neop Puritan
1:00
Revolution and so the context and then
1:05
an interpretation of that context by
1:08
another scholar writer commentator who I
1:11
confess I'd never heard of he's an
1:13
American called Joshua Travino and he
1:16
writes essentially online and very
1:19
interesting it was too he had also been
1:21
a tourist in
1:23
Britain England during the time of the
1:26
riots and was completely mystified by by
1:30
what he'd seen he was of course aware of
1:33
the profoundly important history of
1:35
England any American knows that America
1:39
is a direct continuation of both the
1:42
greatness and the deficiencies of 18
1:46
century England and on the whole the
1:48
greatness much outweighs the
1:50
deficiencies and and therefore he was
1:52
appalled to see what he
1:57
called in a sense he didn't did he use
2:00
the term now dear me elderly memory did
2:03
he actually use the term the death of
2:05
England or is that the fact that I've
2:07
written long long ago in the 90s
2:10
actually being prophetic as usual a
2:12
times piece called a long times piece
2:15
called the death of England anyway back
2:17
to uh this this kind of travel log of
2:21
Travino what he was aware of and
2:24
profoundly aware of was that something
2:27
had happened if he hadn't actually
2:29
witness the death of England he' witness
2:32
perhaps the murder of England anyway he
2:36
uses two literary references and as his
2:40
title actual title the first is this
2:43
seped aisle that comes from the great
2:46
John of gaun speech in Shakespeare's
2:49
Richard II which remember is at the
2:52
beginning of another moment of great
2:54
National crisis the wars of the Roses
2:57
which for the Tudors represented the
3:00
virtual disintegration of the English
3:03
state in the 15th century from which
3:06
they'd been rescued first by Henry I 7th
3:09
and then more dramatically by Henry VII
3:12
and the Reformation first and think of
3:15
the great portrait that I've so often
3:17
talked about the great double portrait
3:20
uh of Henry VII and his father Henry
3:22
iith painted by Hine and now at last
3:25
disappeared with the wall on which it
3:27
was painted in the Palace of White Hall
3:30
with the verses verses by Richard
3:33
Morrison in the center saying compare
3:35
these two Heroes which is the greater
3:38
the father Henry iith suppressed Civil
3:41
War those Wars which began in the reign
3:43
of Richard II or at least the tudas and
3:46
I think actually they were right to
3:48
understand it began the Civil Wars of
3:50
the wars of the Roses beginning in the
3:51
reign of Richard II and Henry of course
3:54
with the assertion of the separate
3:57
identity of England and its Church
4:00
with the reformation and the assertion
4:02
of the royal Supremacy over the church
4:04
and therefore Henry being Henry VII
4:07
being even greater than his father was
4:09
anyway so um this seped aisle is is
4:15
again as it's delivered is irony it's an
4:19
awareness of what England could be but
4:22
its internal divisions its external
4:25
attacks were destroying it and
4:27
subverting it and then the the subtitle
4:30
is even more dramatic it is Reflections
4:33
on the Revolution in England that is
4:36
what of course that great figure Anglo
4:39
Irish figure Edmund Burke wrote at the
4:42
very beginning of the French Revolution
4:44
from the safe Fantage point of England
4:47
and her history and her Constitution
4:50
about the unfolding disaster in France
4:53
and neither of these references is fully
4:56
worked out by trino I will do a little
4:59
bit towards it but let me say what I
5:02
think instantly is my big idea what is
5:07
the nature of this English Revolution
5:11
what is the nature
5:13
of this septed isle crisis well actually
5:18
we've actually got to shift from England
5:22
we've got to realize that what has
5:24
happened is something really on a bigger
5:28
scale I've talked lot haven't I um both
5:31
recently and uh more formerly uh in my
5:34
various um historical programs as
5:37
opposed to the current affair current
5:39
affairs once on the very peculiar nature
5:42
of British identity and arguing in fact
5:46
that it was premodern uh that that um it
5:49
was in fact always multinational um it
5:53
was in fact um held together really by
5:56
the fabric of the English Constitution
5:59
even though it Incorporated England even
6:01
though it Incorporated the four
6:02
countries the four nations the four
6:04
nationalities of England Scotland
6:06
Ireland and Wales what I think has
6:09
happened
6:11
is and again I've talked about this
6:13
frequently I've talked about the
6:16
deliberate destruction or reinvention of
6:19
the English Constitution which remained
6:22
the basis of the Constitution of the
6:25
United Kingdom right from the act of
6:27
Union of 1707 up to
6:31
1997 and the beginning of the Blair
6:33
government I've talked about how so
6:36
often that you must be bored with it of
6:38
what happened to that Constitution how
6:40
it was the the very idea of
6:42
parliamentary sovereignty the idea of
6:45
parliament Sovereign not because of some
6:47
abstract Doctrine but because of its
6:49
representative nature that everybody in
6:51
England was present there either in
6:54
person or by their representative that's
6:56
what makes it Sovereign what concerns
6:58
all is ided by all and therefore binds
7:02
all which produces that extraordinary
7:04
English attitude to law the English
7:07
attitude that policing should be by
7:09
consent all the the that the public
7:11
interest is determined by Consulting the
7:13
private interest all of these things
7:16
well all of that was deliberately
7:18
subverted and as we can now see damaged
7:22
if not destroyed by the Constitutional
7:24
changes that were introduced barely with
7:28
thought barely with resistance certainly
7:31
not with analysis under Blair the the
7:35
creation of the whole series of bodies
7:38
of devolved bodies like the um monetary
7:42
policy Committee of the bank of England
7:44
this extraordinary pattern of quangos
7:46
that deliberately de devolves decisions
7:48
away from Parliament the subversion of
7:51
parliamentary Authority by the create by
7:53
the incorporation of doctrines of
7:55
universal or european human rights which
7:58
suggest a higher Authority than the
8:00
state and indeed that the sovereign
8:02
state is merely conditional and has
8:04
actually got no right to its borders and
8:06
then finally the disintegrative process
8:09
and of constant separate group
8:12
identities partly through the fact that
8:14
human rights laws have been
8:17
perverted into being not the protection
8:20
of everybody against the state but the
8:22
protections of the minority minorities
8:25
Legions of them against the majority
8:28
which broadly is to be interpreted as
8:31
white English
8:33
males they are as it were seen as the
8:36
oppressor group and everybody else needs
8:38
protection against them which results of
8:40
course as everybody is now pointing out
8:42
not only two-tier policing but
8:45
effectively a new form of racism a new
8:48
form of anti-white racism and then
8:52
finally that that that the the the the
8:55
crowning feature of that is the
8:58
equalities Act uh willed upon the nation
9:00
by the Dreadful Harriet Harmon and then
9:03
finally acting as the Keystone pulling
9:06
all this together the Supreme Court
9:09
which of course automatically diminishes
9:12
the majesty and sovereignty of
9:14
Parliament and leads to the development
9:16
of what we're seeing in every single
9:18
sphere of Life the subversion of
9:20
politics by law the idea that the lawyer
9:24
stands above the politician and
9:26
therefore the lawyer stands above the
9:28
people and therefore the idea that the
9:30
rule of law as we see so clearly and so
9:33
horrible with lawyer chief lawyer Chief
9:36
prosecutor um starma the idea that the
9:40
rule of law means the rule of lawyers
9:43
the most uncomfortable and horrible of
9:47
tyrannies because as Cicero says when
9:50
the law itself is perverted that is the
9:53
worst the law itself should be the
9:56
instrument of Freedom becomes the
9:58
instrument of Oppression so all of that
10:01
goes on
10:03
under that first episode of new
10:06
labor I've described it through
10:10
different acts of parliament I've
10:11
described it through uh as it were
10:14
through different acts of parliament
10:15
setting up the Supreme Court
10:17
incorporation of the the uh um the
10:22
European convention on human rights uh
10:25
the equalities act the creation of the
10:28
Supreme Court all of those but what did
10:31
it amount to what's the overall shape of
10:35
it this is what I hadn't thought of
10:37
before and what I don't think anybody
10:39
has thought of before what it was what
10:43
it amounted to was the creation of a new
10:47
constitution for the intended
10:51
new federal state of Britain no less no
10:57
more the actual cre
10:59
of a new state with a new
11:03
constitution now think about that none
11:06
of us were consulted about it most of us
11:09
I don't think anybody I'm not even sure
11:11
its authors fully realized what was
11:14
going on but that's what's happened I
11:18
was born in the United Kingdom unless we
11:21
do something about it I'm going to die
11:24
in this bizarre new state called Britain
11:29
with with a new set of principles with a
11:33
new population
11:35
with new
11:38
values which are I would gently
11:42
suggest problematic problematic in
11:45
fundamental ways because what it means
11:48
is that
11:50
we've lost two things we've lost our
11:54
ancestral
11:55
Liberties and we've lost above all
11:58
English
12:00
the sense of our notion the sense of who
12:03
we are what we are what we have been
12:07
what we should be but you know what
12:09
we've actually been here before and I'm
12:13
going to end quite quite soon on this
12:16
because um I want to develop all these
12:19
arguments much more fully but we've been
12:21
here before the first attempt at
12:24
creating a new state of Britain took
12:29
place right at the beginning of the
12:31
Union of the crowns in the reign of
12:33
James I 6 of Scotland and first of
12:36
England who succeeds Elizabeth the in
12:39
16003 now James is a passionate unionist
12:43
and James advances directly in
12:46
Parliament some of the very best
12:48
Arguments for Union indeed they are the
12:50
arguments uh which which which we've
12:52
still got he advances the very best
12:54
Arguments for Union you can which is
12:57
essentially we speak more or less the
12:59
same language um we have more or less
13:02
the same values there is no all modern
13:06
sociology demonstrates that to be the
13:08
case that there is no serious Frontier
13:11
between England and Scotland you can't
13:12
even trace it on the map it's moved it's
13:15
fluctuated so much from time to time in
13:18
those days what was very important the
13:20
same religion that's to say
13:22
protestantism and of course at that
13:25
point the same Kings why shouldn't there
13:28
be Union who resists Union what is very
13:31
striking it's not the Scots it is
13:34
James's English subjects and they resist
13:37
Union passionately and you know what
13:41
they were prophetic what they argue is
13:45
if you create a new British State what
13:49
that means is that all the old
13:51
Privileges and rights of England above
13:54
all expressed through the common law and
13:57
Parliament and and that embedded
14:00
tradition of England and English Freedom
14:03
all of that will be dissolved because
14:06
you will have created a new state with
14:09
the possibility and indeed bearing in
14:11
mind James had written um in the true
14:14
law of free monarchies uh with with a
14:17
passionate sense of the natural rights
14:20
of a king the natural Divine rights of a
14:22
king in other words the potential of
14:25
genuine absolutism because the moment
14:27
you cut off those old Roots going back
14:30
to Magna cataa to the establishment of
14:32
parliament to the extraordinary balance
14:34
between the crown and the country and
14:37
its representatives in Parliament the
14:39
fact that parliaments created by strong
14:41
Kings because they want Ascent to law
14:44
and they want Ascent to taxation but at
14:46
the same time that mechanism also acts
14:49
as a wonderful break on bad kings and
14:52
weak Kings and all of that all of that
14:55
history back to Magna Cara would have
14:58
disappeared what I want to suggest is
15:01
what was done by new labor back in the
15:03
'90s and the early 2000s and what is
15:06
being repeated by K does now is
15:09
effectively to abolish not only the
15:12
English Constitution but as far as
15:15
possible to abolish England itself
15:18
because what was fundamentally missing
15:20
from Trevino's essay is the fact that
15:23
what's going on is of the suppression of
15:26
England Scotland Ireland and Wales are
15:29
allowed their own identities indeed
15:32
encouraged to have them the one bit of
15:35
this this this good Neo Federalist state
15:38
is not allowed to have them is England
15:40
which pays for the lot and contains
15:43
overwhelmingly the largest number of
15:45
people there's something very bizarre
15:48
about it what I want to do in my next
15:51
talk which I will try and do as quickly
15:53
as possible you realize ideas are
15:55
rushing into my head at the moment I'll
15:57
try and explain how this has come to be
16:00
and it will lie the explanation of
16:02
course will lie in that extraordinary
16:05
history of Great Britain the United
16:08
Kingdom of Great Britain between 1707
16:11
and
16:12
1997 the fact that it was an early
16:15
modern state that it never tried to
16:17
cement Itself by creating a single
16:19
national identity a single National myth
16:23
that it was a series Fusion but a very
16:26
uneven and unequal Fusion of four
16:29
separate National Traditions but with a
16:32
single overarching one the political the
16:36
Constitutional the cultural the
16:38
linguistic inheritance of England and it
16:41
is that English dominance that was so
16:44
determinedly attacked and at the moment
16:47
is in the process of actually being
16:49
destroyed under starma I need to analyze
16:52
with you to share with you this sense of
16:55
discovery which I'll do as soon as I can
16:59
thank you

My comment:
The roots of English liberties go back beyond Magna Carta. Thomas Paine, who was educated in a grammar school in Thanet founded in the 7th Century AD, recognised this by calling upon England to free itself from the Norman yoke. Which indeed it should and must, restoring (True) Orthodox Christian England and getting rid of the Romanist heresy imposed by William the Conqueror when he usurped the throne, killing King Harold II and deposing the next King, Edgar II, less than 3 months later. They must also get rid of the offshoot of Romanism, Reformed Protestantism as a necessary part of this restoration. See the works of Vladimir Moss on Orthodox England on this, especially. Also those of Father Andrew Philips. Many of the defeated English were exiled in the [Eastern] Roman Empire [posthumously dubbed Byzantine], going on to re-conquer Crimea for that empire. Some settled in Bulgaria, Romania and Georgia as well. Also maintaining English centres in Hungary which dated from the time of the exile of members of the English royal family there (inter-marrying with the Hungarian royal house (I´m a direct legitimate descendant of this). Indeed, I knew a Georgian descendant of them who informed me that there are various words (table (which was borrowed from the Latin tabula before the Norman Conquest, converging with the soft a Norman French, table, to become the hard a table) is one of them, in some Georgian dialects, including the one he speaks, which they introduced into the Georgian language. We find records of these exiled English warriors fighting in Georgian wars through to the 13th century.
The roots of English liberties go at least as far back as the reign of Ethelred II in which his restoration was made contingent upon him respecting the rights of others, notably through the Witan. England has always been multicultural, with specific rights for Celts (and until they were absorbed after the Norman conquest) for Danes within England. Celtic minority rights are recorded in the laws of King Henry II. Only after this do they disappear, being revived after the union of England and Wales. The right to receive services in Welsh still exists at a national level, including the right to fill in various forms in Welsh. This might not survive the total breakdown of the UK into its constituent parts.
The wonderfully accurate 24 part Anonymous Prophecy of Mount Athos of 1053, contains, in part 13 the prophecy "England for the Saxons only". This is what is unfolding now. And is widely interpreted to include the loss of Empire, Brexit, and the eventual dissolution of the UK. Next up in this prophecy is the battle for and restoration of Constantinople. From another source, a pillar in Constantinople itself, deciphered just before its fall, we learn that the Turks will rule there for about 580 years, their rule having started on Tuesday May 29th 1453, then it will be restored when there is a Kyriopascha (the coinciding of the Feast of the Annunciation (25th March) which, with its apodosis (after feast to end the feast) two days later on 27th March, with Pascha (aka Easter). There is a Kyriopascha of this type in 2034, with the Feast of the Annunciation falling on Friday 25th March in the traditional Orthodox church calendar (and civil calendar on Mount Athos, Greece), 7th April in the civil calendar (outside of Mount Athos, Greece), and Pascha (aka [traditional] [Orthodox] Easter) falling on its Apodosis of Sunday 27th March/9th April 2034. This means, because these prophecies are sequential, that "England for the Saxons only" must have been completed by that date. I would note, further, that if Parliament runs to its full term then the next General Election will be in 2029, and the following one, if it runs to full term, will be in 2034. Reform wins in England, SNP in Scotland, Plaid Cymru in Wales, Irish Nationalists (whether Sinn Fein or the SDLP, or a combination of the two, in Northern Ireland, would be the perfect scenario for this. All of these nationalist parties want their countries to join the EU (in the case of Northern Ireland by uniting with Eire, the Irish Republic, though there is a strong majority in favour of joining in Northern Ireland, so it could end up (re-)joining in its own right even if it leaves the UK and becomes an independent state without joining Eire. So, we could well be looking at a time span of 2029-2034 for the completion of this process. Or earlier if there is an early general election next time around.
St.Nectan of Hartland prophesied the restoration of the True Faith in what has become England, and the deathbed prophesy of King Edward the Confessor talks of the possibility of the restoration of England to the True Faith towards the end of time (namely True Orthodox Christianity). This will be after there has been a separation, with a separated branch of a tree, travelling 3 furlongs from its roots (Romanism, Reformed Protestantism, and as of the coronation of Charles III, which included New Calendarist (heretical, Ecumenist, pseudo-) ("Greek") "Orthodox" Chrism, Anointing and chanting in Greek; Protestant Ecumenism), then returning to its original trunk, including its healing sap, without the intervention of man (i.e. not through an administrative, compromise "church" re-unification of a typically Romanist or Reformed Protestant type, but through genuine repentance and uniting with an existing [True] Orthodox jurisdiction as declared by that jurisdiction without having to go through the normal process of petitioning them to join (this happened to the Parish of St. Michael´s, Guildford in 2011. being thus admitted to the True Orthodox Church of Russia under the Omophorion of Tikhon of Omsk and all-Siberia, to which most of the rest of England can join when it is ready). Again, the timespan for this is likely to be completed by 2034.
