The UK is a series of islands in Europe plus about 1/6 of the island of Ireland, also in Europe. Gibraltar, which also voted in the Referendum, sensibly 93% Remain, is a peninsula on the European mainland. That's why the UK helped draft the European Convention on Human Rights in 1951 which it ratified and joined and is still part of. The Irish Republic, Eire, Iceland, Malta and Cyprus are all other wholly island European nations. The latter two are also both in the EU and the British Commonwealth. Also what is now the island of Britain, which has always constituted the majority of the UK's landmass, was part of the European continental mainland until the flooding of Doggerland and destruction of the land bridge with the rest of the European continent completed the creation of the North Sea and created what is now known as the English Channel. That was thousands of years ago. The ancestors of the English, the Angles, the Saxons, the Jutes and the Frisians didn't arrive from elsewhere in Europe until thousands of years afterwards. Early English literature recognised its recent continental roots, such as Beowulf (set in Scandinavia) and St. Bede's "History of the English Church and People".

It's therefore a fact that the UK is European in its entirety, and always will be. It's also always been in Europe, not Asia, Africa, the Americas, Oceania or Antarctica. Much though some might wish otherwise. Likewise Gibraltar, though that is on the European side of the Straits which divide Europe from Africa.

To claim that the UK isn't European is thus incorrect. It's one of a number of European countries that are not part of the European Union. It can apply to rejoin.

The RejoinEU Party recently got its first local councillor elected on over 42% of the vote. Over 55% of the electorate in the UK and Gibraltar now regret Brexit. Less than 35% don't. 

The UK Government is afraid of testing the will of the UK and Gibraltar people again.

There are at least two areas where I agree with Keir Starmer: we need House of Lords reform and reform of the media to bring press freedom up from its ranking outside the world's top 20.

Then we need actual overseas constituencies as France, Italy and Portugal all have to represent their citizens resident abroad.

Then we can implement two of Nigel Farage's suggestions: proportional representation and being able to  force out binding referenda on anything, Swiss-style.

Then, and only then, can the citizens of the UK stop being the subjects of the alien Norman elite imposed along with an illegitimate "King", Guillaume le Batard, Duc de Normandie and his descendants, who still possess at least 25% of the land, by an invasion blessed by the then "Pope of Rome" and "Patriarch of the West", excommunicated since 1054 by the other 4 Patriarchates then in existence (covering the whole world) on grounds of heresy (Filioque clause in the Creed, unleavened bread in communion and false claims of Romanist Papal dictatorial supremacy (as opposed to Ecumenical Synod supremacy (as shown by the 6th Ecumenical Synod's condemnation of Pope Honourios I as a Monothelite heretic in 681AD) and actually be fully empowered citizens, taking back control from the alien elites for the first time since Guillaume's coronation. No more need for legislation to have to be assented to with "Le Roi le veut", the King Wants it. Galicia, including the Contado de Portugal had gone out of Communion with Rome in 1049 over the issue of the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela's independent Apostolic succession to Rome (from the Apostle James, about which they were correct) and was crushed by invasions lasting until 1073 after the death of the Archbishop in 1066, destroying his synod in the process. England and the rest of the British Isles went out of Communion with Rome in 1052 when the Norman Archbishop of Canterbury, primate of the British Isles, abandoned his see and was replaced as Archbishop of Canterbury by Bishop Stigand of Winchester, elected by his fellow bishops of the British Isles. Stigand refused to crown William, thus further invalidating his claim.

The 24 part Anonymous Prophecy of Mount Athos of 1053, totally accurate so far (see the Byzantineprophecy.com website) predicted both Revolution in India and expulsion of the English (1947) in part 12, and Brexit and the isolation of the territory dominated by England (England for the Saxons only, part 13).

However the prophecy ends with the liberation of Constantinople from the Moslems, its handing (back) over to the Greeks, the cessation of the Roman Papacy, successful German missionary activity from the East to far to the West, one Patriarchate for all of Europe (Patriarchates are always constituted as part of an Empire, so there will have to be a dominant power in Europe, a unitary European State and Empire uniting it), and the submission of the Latins (Romanists and Protestants alike) to the unerring faith of the Orthodox led by a single True Orthodox pastor.

A united True Orthodox Christian Europe, spiritually and politically in a Single Empire with a single Basic Law or Constitution (essentially an updated version of the 1906 Russian  Constitution, with modern referendum technology and Swiss ideas blended in, as well as abdication and regency procedures).

All of Europe will be united, and the surrounding areas into it, harmoniously.

Likely date for this (and new ecclesiastical calendar): 2037-8 (Saints' calendars such as St. Nilus the Myrrh-Gusher) run out in 2037.

This will be led by a reigning Romanov Tsarina from the female line and the Greek branch of the Romanovs. Such a person already exists.
